Join 1860s in Historic Soulard every day of the year. Our three rooms of fun are open daily 11 – 1:30 a.m. (until midnight on Sundays.) The Saloon, Game Room, and Hardshell Café each have friendly service with a bar, table seating and outside entrance, while sharing one menu.  American and Cajun fare are house made specialties, including the sauces and soup of the day.  Seating is first come, first served as we take care to follow health precautions. There is outdoor seating, weather permitting.

The original room, 1860 Saloon, is where local and regional musicians play blues, classic rock, Motown and more every night and twice on Saturdays and Sundays. The vintage back bar, wood floors and small stage make it a cozy atmosphere for friends to gather. The music and events schedule is on the website page 1860s Events & Music

The Game Room, with its high wood-beamed ceiling, wall of windows and large brick fireplace promises a fun experience. Guests enjoy foosball, shuffleboard, darts, arcade games, televised sports and more for a unique place to relax with friends. Private parties can be booked on weeknights and some weekend early afternoons. More info on the 1860s Private Party Page

The Hardshell Cafe room is a New Orleans courtyard environment. With restaurant style seating, customers enjoy the expansive and highly rated menu of fresh seafood and Cajun specialties in a setting featuring a 500 gallon fish tank and two photogenic “Giant Jesters”.

1860 Saloon, Game Room & Hardshell Café has been in St. Louis’ Historic Soulard neighborhood for over 35 years.  It is open 365 days a year and located at the corner of 9th & Geyer, one mile south of Busch Stadium, with free parking in the lot across the street and on the residential side streets.
