Local brewers offer many beer styles

Open to trying new beer styles to go with your bites?

Beer drinkers naturally have favorite beer styles and brands.  And the differences in ingredients and brewing processes affect how we taste the food we are eating with it.

At 1860’s, we take pride in supporting the locally brewed beers. There’s a variety of  beer styles served on draft, in bottles, and cans. From Lagers and IPA’s to Brown Ales and Stout, we help local craft brewers to bring you the latest. They combine technology with consumer needs to provide quality beer at competitive prices.

And we have fabulous food dishes to enjoy with all the beer styles.  For lighter fare such as Grilled Chicken and Top Chef salad, you can’t go wrong with a lager or pilsner. IPA’s are perfect with spicy foods. The Spicy Chicken Wings and Chicken Wrap and Seafood Gumbo are great choices. Brown Ales go great with everything, from the Red Beans & Rice to the BBQ Chicken Pizza. If you’re ordering beef, stouts and strong roasted malts are perfect with a hearty meal. The fresh ground beef burgers, French Quarter Roast Beef.

Enjoy happy hours Monday thru Friday with 50 cents off all locally brewed beers. And ½ price on select appetizers. So now you can try something new with your spicy Cajun Chips or Beef Nachos.

Sure, what really matters is your preferences, but we will be happy to offer information on the different styles.  Ask your server or bartender about our specials and beer suggestions.

Every day there is live music in the Saloon by musicians entertaining with blues, R&B, Motown and Classic Rock.  In addition to the Saloon, the 1860’s Game Room is a great gathering spot for playing darts, shuffle board and more.   And the Hardshell Café has a wonderful New Orleans garden atmosphere with a 500 gallon fish tank.
